Visa photo: requirements per country
Visa photo requirements differ per country. We make sure your photo matches the requirements of the relevant embassy:
- Size according to the country of destination; we know the correct dimensions per destination.
- US visa: square photo of 2 x 2 inch (51 x 51 mm).
- Schengen and Dutch visa: 35 x 45 mm.
- Other countries (incl. China, India, Turkey): their own dimensions, we provide the correct size.
- Plain, usually white background according to the country's requirements.
- Look straight into the camera, neutral expression and mouth closed.
- Recent photo, no older than six months.
- Even lighting, without shadows or reflections.
- No headwear, except when the country permits it for religious reasons.
