RDW-recognised photographer

RDW-Recognised Photographer in Rotterdam

To apply for or renew your driving licence digitally, you need a photo that is delivered directly to the RDW. We are officially recognised for this.

What does RDW-recognised mean?

RDW-recognised means Pasfoto Rotterdam Zuid has been approved by the RDW to deliver your passport photo and signature digitally and securely for a driving licence application or renewal. This recognition applies solely to the digital driving licence photo: we do not use the RDW recognition as a quality mark for passport or ID card photos, because those documents are assessed by the municipality, not by the RDW.

Frequently asked questions about RDW recognition

The most common questions about our RDW recognition and the digital driving licence photo.

What exactly does RDW-recognised mean?

It means we are officially approved to deliver your passport photo and signature for a driving licence application digitally and securely to the RDW. The recognition only applies to the driving licence photo, not to passport or ID card photos.

Does the RDW recognition also apply to my passport or ID card photo?

No. Passport and ID card photos are assessed by the municipality, not by the RDW. Our RDW recognition only concerns the digital driving licence photo.

What is a photo code and what do I do with it?

A photo code confirms that your photo and signature have been delivered digitally to the RDW. You use this code when applying for or renewing your driving licence at the municipality or the RDW desk.

Do I still need to bring loose passport photos for my driving licence?

No, with digital delivery through us that is not necessary. You only bring the photo code to the municipality or the RDW desk.
